Bill emigrated to Australia from the UK in 1972, and lives in Canberra, the capital City of Australia. Bill settled into his new country and with a relative, built up a home building and land development company. This company was constructing sixteen homes a month with over 70 people as staff and contractors.
In 1994, after years of 6 and 7 day weeks, working 12-15 hours a day, Bill left the business convinced that he had "lost the plot," and there was more to life than being a slave to a business that he was not passionate about and also kept him away from his true love in life, his family.
In 1994 Bill discovered the Internet, and the fact that anyone with a PC could communicate on a Global scale, at lightening fast speeds, for very little cost. This convinced him that the Internet was a new frontier filled with opportunities which he would pursue to the fullest.
Bill has gone on to develop several online businesses in partnership with Harry Pickett, who he first met online, and then in person, while they were both attending an Internet Conference in Orlando Florida in 1997. Both had the same vision as to the potential of electronic commerce and they formed a partnership based on their mutual integrity, goals and vision.
Obvious to everyone in the world, the Internet is a rapidly developing and changing medium. Realizing this, Bill taught himself a "Rapid Development" programming language called "Cold Fusion" which now allows the business to virtually "turn on a dime" as changes on the Internet dictate new directions.
The online services Bill and Harry offer have over 40,000 registered users, with over 400,000 hits a month on their sites. The rapid growth has required that quality customer service be a part of their systems. This is done to quickly resolve any challenges on the part of their partners, associates and affiliates. Bill passionately believes that if an online business cannot offer first class client service and support, it just will not survive.
