"Booj" started his web site in 1997 as a
hobby. In 1998 he turned it into a part time business to generate a
second income, but by 1999 he left his web design job to work for
himself full time.
In the time since, his accomplishments are numerous. Dennis has
authored two print books on web design, with a third book on a
different topic in the works. He's developed top-rated software,
authored several ebooks, and won a huge following through his
unique ability to combine how-to instruction and life wisdom with a
unique and ever present sense of humor.
Dennis also publishes Almost a Newsletter, an eclectic newsletter
about web design, the Internet and life. His newsletter was named
the Best Ezine of 2000 by ibizNewsletters (a newsletter review
service) and rated as one of the top 3 ezines on the Internet in
Writers Digest Magazine.
Dennis has been spotlighted in many books, magazines and
newsletters, as well as on radio and television. Though he's often a
requested guest speaker/interviewee for radio, television, seminars,
and business roundtable discussion groups, Dennis concedes his
greatest strength is through the written word.
While Web Marketing Today referred to Dennis as a "legend" on
the Internet, he insists he's just a regular guy that happens to
care about helping others to believe in themselves and their abilities
so they, too, can accomplish great things. As Dennis says, life
isn't about what you get, it's about what you become.
Dennis' web site, at boogiejack.com, currently features
webmaster software, his print books and ebooks, web design
tutorials, web graphics, and a taste of his award-winning writing.
Dennis is married with two adult children. He lives in a small and
friendly Wisconsin town where life is comfortably paced and geared
toward family life.
