Trade Journal Testimonials

Please KEEP the personal stuff. That's what makes your ezine so interesting. It's not so cut-and-dried that when it arrives I READ it, and do not trash it as I do so many, many others. Of course, I want the business stuff also. I have learned a great deal from your news.

I think the thing that sets a great ezine apart from a good ezine is the personality of the publisher. Those who are afraid to inject their personalities usually provide boring reading. Of course, an ezine must contain valuable content but that doesn't mean that it can't also be interesting, funny, and entertaining.

Keep on doing what you're doing!

Don't take out the personal comments. If you do, you'll become one of those publishers that "have nothing to say." The priorities go to something that can brighten the day or make the reading a bit more interesting. It's the personal comments and anecdotes that make me read the whole darn thing.

Using personal stories are what makes the ezine seem more like a personal e-mail with loads of important information. I look forward to every issue because I know I'll be entertained as well as educated on things I am interested in.

You deal in many business, legal, ethical matters. etc., but your appeal for me is the perspective your age, experience and frankness gives to those concerns. You sum it up well when you note the net has become largely trash; behavior generally that wouldn't wash anywhere else but on the faceless internet.

I enjoy the personal touch you bring to the Journal. It adds some life to each issue. Too many ezines are all business-like and stuffy. DON'T stop being YOU in the Journal. It's what has kept me glued to each issue for all of those 7 years.

I love your ezine... always have, it's one of the few I still consistently read. Why? Because you always share a little personal 'jl tidbit' with us... and then you get down to business and teach us something we may not have been aware of or just rant about something we all were upset about but maybe couldn't express as eloquently. It gives a feeling of belonging and that someone still cares about what's happening with online marketing.

You offer us something with real content, not just the product pushing ads we see so much of today. With ICop, we learn something new in each issue, and I simply love the "Leaving You with a Smile" section. I, for one, hope you keep the content exactly as it is.

You put yourself in this ezine which, in my opinion, is a very important part of the ezine, letting us know who you are. I enjoy hearing about ET (I named one of my puppies ET),and what is going on in your life. I look forward to reading it on Monday morning. It makes my day better. So please, don’t change one thing!
